Steam has added a Personal Calendar module to the homepage that shows a few upcoming releases for each of the next five days based on what’s on your wishlist and the tags of games you typically play. The calendar appeared when you’re logged in and actually rolled out earlier this month, though the announcement undersold what it does.

The full Personal Calendar page lists games released in the past month and some from the past week, then shows a forward-looking view of the next two months with a per-day preview of a few titles (up to six for a single day on mine). You can filter by tag, set games per page, and choose whether to show games already on your wishlist.

This feels more digestible than the Discovery Queue or the storewide upcoming list. The calendar even reminded me that Beast of Reincarnation comes out the day before Big Walk, which is the day before the 1.0 launch of Fields of Mistria — a cluster of releases that suddenly makes sense when placed on a calendar.
