Secretlab has introduced the Atlas, a sleek, slim task chair aimed at people who split time between gaming and working from home. I visited Secretlab HQ and have been sitting in the chair for several days; it feels less bulky and comes with a lower starting price than the Titan Evo.

The Atlas simplifies the Titan Evo's approach: a high-back design with a fixed S-shaped lordotic curvature, synchronous tilt and seat-depth adjustments, and a magnetic headrest that has been slightly redesigned with a curvier shape to support the neck. Secretlab positions the chair for both focus and rest—employees mentioned the Pomodoro Technique—and for "dynamic sitting," encouraging movement and posture changes rather than a single stiff position.

Dr. Stuart McGill's line, "The best posture is your next posture," was cited during my visit and noted by head of product development Vincent Sin as an influence on the design.
