Zoë Kravitz, Sadie Sink star in Netflix interactive game 'Unhinged'

Netflix is releasing Unhinged, an interactive home-invasion horror game starring Zoë Kravitz, Sadie Sink and voice actor Troy Baker. Night School developed the project for the streamer as part of its expanding games lineup.

Designed to be completed in under an hour, the game has players use their phones as phones: answer calls and texts, turn on Ava’s flashlight and make split-second decisions to survive a terrifying break-in during a massive storm. The team built the experience to be approachable for inexperienced gamers and replayable; development took about a year and a half.

I visited Netflix’s HQ last week and played through the entire self-contained campaign alongside two developers, finishing in roughly 30 minutes. I made it through without a slip-up and wanted to try again to see different outcomes. Unhinged hits Netflix on June 30.
