Zendaya's Challengers Leaving Hulu on June 1 — Stream It Now

Zendaya’s 2024 erotic sports drama Challengers will leave Hulu on June 1, 2026. The R-rated film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, pairs her with Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist in a notably mature and sensual performance from the star. The story follows a torrid love triangle among professional tennis players — Tashi (Zendaya), her husband and coach Art (Faist), and rival Patrick (O’Connor) — spanning 13 years and jumping back and forth in time.

Challengers opened in March 2024 and became both a critical and commercial hit, earning an 88% Rotten Tomatoes score, an 82 Metascore, and grossing $96 million against a $55 million budget. Challengers marked a clear turn toward adult material for Zendaya after roles such as MJ Watson and Rue Bennett.

She has other high-profile projects lined up, including The Drama, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dune: Part 3, and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, in which she plays Athena. Guadagnino has said there are no plans for a sequel and is focused on other projects in development.
