Zach Braff Teases More Returning Faces for Scrubs Season 2
After a 16-year hiatus, Scrubs returned and was embraced by critics and audiences, securing a renewal. The revival caught viewers up on J.D. (Zach Braff), Elliot (Sarah Chalke), Chris (Donald Faison) and the rest of the gang. Braff says Season 2—technically Season 11 in the show's broader timeline—will bring back more guest characters.
"More guest stars will be back for the fans. I'll tease that. Or we're booking a lot of their fan favorites as we speak," he told People. Season 10 already brought back Jordan Sullivan (Christa Miller), Hooch (Phill Lewis) and Dr. Todd Quinlan (Robert Maschio).
Other familiar faces eyed for at least a cameo include Paige Cox (Cheryl Hines), Denise Lemmon (Molly Shannon) and Billy Callahan (Colin Farrell), with hopes Nurse Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes) and the Janitor (Neil Flynn) will play larger roles. The revival has kept the show's heart while shifting its tone.
