You only have 5 days left to watch Jason Statham’s four-part Expendables series on Netflix — the films leave the service on June 20. The Expendables began as Sylvester Stallone’s 2010 action franchise about an elite team of older, muscular men led by Barney Ross.

The first film was conceived by David Callaham, directed by Stallone and sends the team to overthrow a Latin American dictator. Plot has always taken a back seat to spectacle: explosions, shootouts and fistfights served up with a knowing dose of humor so viewers don’t take any of it too seriously.

The franchise is a roll call of action names — Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and others — and it trades on the real-life history between Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
