You may not have to wait for Prime Day for the best PC gaming deals

Newegg has begun its Super Dad Father’s Day sale with tech deals running up to Prime Day/Week. Many items in the sale, live from June 15 to June 21, carry FantasTech Price Protection: if a protected item drops to a lower price before June 28, Newegg will automatically refund the difference.

That protection can make buying parts or a new PC today less risky, but it won’t cover deeper discounts if another retailer sells the same item for less. Best Buy offers a Price Match Guarantee instead. You can request a match via chat before purchase or ask for a refund if a qualifying competitor lists a lower price during your returns window.

Matches apply only to identical, new products sold directly, and Best Buy will not match items sold by Newegg. Amazon does not price match or guarantee prices, though returns are straightforward so you could return and repurchase if a price falls.
