Graham Potter’s tenure in charge of Sweden continued to gather momentum as his side swept aside an error-prone Tunisia. The former left-back from York City has become an unlikely figure of adulation in Sweden after guiding a team that struggled in qualifying into a convincing World Cup performance.

Sweden’s route to the finals came after a poor qualifying campaign, the dismissal of Jon Dahl Tomasson and a Nations League play-off run that saw them beat Ukraine and Poland; Potter called the latter victory his best night in football.
