Foot Mercato says RB Leipzig's in-demand forward has given Paris Saint-Germain the green light for a summer move, prompting repeated meetings between the clubs. PSG remains wary of sky-high fees while Leipzig, with Diomande under contract until 2030, would only consider selling after one season for a bid around €100 million; Oliver Mintzlaff warned that the club could not let him go after just one year.

Diomande himself replied “yes” when asked if he would still be at Leipzig next season, adding that he enjoys playing there. Leipzig’s third-place finish and Champions League qualification make a departure less tempting from a sporting perspective and ease the financial pressure to sell.

PSG’s interest may hinge on the future of Bradley Barcola, with Diomande seen as a possible replacement who would nonetheless begin behind Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé.
