XRP slid about 3.4%, dropping from $1.1873 to $1.1465 as sellers pushed the token through $1.15 support. The decline erased more of last week's rally after another failed attempt to clear a long-running descending trendline near $1.25. The sell-off was driven by a volume spike around 15:00 UTC, when trading surged to 134.2 million XRP — roughly 170% above average — breaking support at $1.1550.

Buyers stepped in near $1.13 and nudged the price back toward $1.15, but the rebound did not reclaim the broken level into the close. Technically, the loss of $1.15 raises the odds that the level turns into resistance, while repeated rejections below the trendline near $1.25 reinforce its importance.

Volume expanded on the selloff rather than the recovery, suggesting sellers retained control as price trades inside a year-long symmetrical triangle. Traders are watching $1.15 as the first hurdle to stabilize momentum, with support clustered around $1.13-$1.14 and a larger floor near $1.10.
