Which Microsoft first-party games will be Xbox console exclusives and which will appear on PlayStation 5 has become harder to predict. During its big summer showcase on June 7 the company said Gears of War: E-Day will not come to PS5 after all, even though a port of the game was said to exist on a drive at The Coalition’s offices.

Microsoft also announced that Clockwork Revolution will be an Xbox console exclusive, while Fable is still coming to PS5. Senua, the latest Hellblade entry from Ninja Theory, will be multiplatform, and even State of Decay 3 is heading to PS5. After the showcase new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma wrote on X that the company wants people to choose Xbox because of great games and experiences and that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be Xbox console exclusives.

Xbox Wire editor Joe Skrebels added that these are not timed exclusives and that games already announced for multiplatform releases will stick to that plan, with the company committed to investing in and growing Xbox on console and beyond.
