Xbox Games Showcase 2026: Every game trailer, reveal, and announcement

The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 packed more than two dozen game announcements and several surprises. Xbox said it is rolling back its multiplatform strategy and launching some major new titles on Xbox Series X exclusively, with Gears of War and Clockwork Revolution singled out.

Gears of War: E-Day received an extended opening-sequence look and a release date of October 8, and Xbox CEO Asha Sharma confirmed there will be no PS5 version. Playground offered a different take on Fable with a trailer introducing Isabel: Hero of Wraithmarsh, an anti-hero played by Hayley Atwell who will serve as the game’s villain.

Atlus showed a fuller glimpse of Persona 4 Revival and announced a February 18, 2027 release — Marie from Persona 4 Golden appears, suggesting Golden’s extra material is included — and delivered a brief tease for Persona 6 as well. Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch on July 28 and includes three new missions in its refreshed remake.
