Xbox Game Pass adds EA Sports FC 26 and Call of Duty: Vanguard in June
Xbox revealed its next wave of Game Pass titles amid the potential closing of its studios Compulsion Games, Ninja Theory, and Double Fine. The slate highlights EA Sports FC 26 and a criticized Call of Duty entry, giving the announcement a quieter feel than usual.
EA Sports FC 26 arrives on Game Pass as the FIFA World Cup 2026 heats up. The game features over 20,000 licensed players from more than 750 national teams and clubs, and promises "the most true-to-football experience ever" in Career mode, where you create a customized footballer.
Ultimate Team features Live Events and tournaments, though the title cannot include the World Cup itself because EA no longer holds the FIFA license. Also joining the service is Call of Duty: Vanguard, a World War II–set entry that spans campaigns in the Pacific, Europe, and North Africa and includes PvP multiplayer and a Zombies mode set in WWII.
