Tyler Mane, best known for playing Sabretooth in the 2000 film "X-Men" and a former World Championship Wrestling star, has revealed he has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The 59-year-old shared the "super rare" diagnosis on June 8 and said he was beginning chemotherapy, telling viewers in a Facebook video, "I have some bad news.

I start chemo today." He added, "One in 750 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and I’m one of them." Mane said he plans to document his treatment to raise awareness about male breast cancer and to encourage other men to pay attention to potential symptoms.

"Come along for my journey to kick this thing in the ass," he said, urging followers to share the message and adding, "F–k cancer!" He wrote that his first reaction was to keep the diagnosis private, calling it "kind of embarrassing," but that his wife, Renae Geerlings, pushed him to have a lump removed after doctors initially dismissed his concerns.
