X-Men '97 Season 2 Trailer Spotlights 25 Mutant Characters

Marvel released a new trailer for X-Men '97 titled "Roll Call" as Season 2 prepares to debut on Disney+ on July 1. The season follows the X-Men battling Apocalypse, with the team split through time: one half in Ancient Egypt at the rise of Apocalypse's power and the other in the far future during the Age of Apocalypse storyline.

The 68-second teaser puts a spotlight on major players across the X-Men, X-Force and X-Factor, including Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Morph, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Jubilee, Sunspot, Cable, Forge, Bishop, Archangel, Psylocke, Emma Frost, Siryn, Wolfsbane, Strong Guy, Multiple Man, Havok, Polaris, Magneto, and Apocalypse.

Merchandise has suggested Cable will lead X-Force while Polaris and Havok return to lead X-Factor. The trailer also drops visual hints: Magneto appears to strip adamantium from Wolverine, who wears a Feral-style costume; Nightcrawler fights Exodus; and Storm is shown in space, possibly channeling the Phoenix Force or summoning a galactic storm.
