X-Men '97 season 2 release schedule and episode titles revealed

After two years of waiting, X-Men '97 season 2 arrives July 1 with three episodes at launch. The revived animated series first appeared in 2024 to wide acclaim and ended season one on a massive cliffhanger. The nine-episode season will roll out as follows: Episode 1, "Days of Past Future" — July 1; Episode 2, "A Force to be Reckoned With" — July 1; Episode 3, "Rise of Apocalypse — Part I" — July 1; Episode 4, "Rise of Apocalypse — Part II" — July 7; Episode 5, "Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs" — July 15; Episode 6, "Danger.exe" — July 22; Episode 7, "Strange Land, Savage Heart" — July 29; Episode 8, "The Dead Man's Hand" — Aug.

5; Episode 9, "Survival of the Fittest" — Aug. 12. Season two picks up where the show left off, with the X-Men scattered across the past, present, and future and Apocalypse set as the season's antagonist.
