WWDC 2026 kicks off Monday at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET and will stream live via the Apple Developer app, Apple’s website and the Apple Developer YouTube channel. Attention is focused on a suite of AI updates, with a major overhaul of Siri and expanded Apple Intelligence features expected to take center stage.

Apple plans a significant AI upgrade to Siri to make it more conversational, better at understanding context, able to handle multi-step tasks and to interact more naturally across apps and services. The revamped assistant will leverage Google’s Gemini technology and may appear as a standalone Siri app aimed at competing with advanced AI chatbots; a message-like option could let users set timers to delete conversations after 30 days, a year or keep them indefinitely.

The Information says Apple intends to introduce an AI agent integration with the app store, enabling agents to book reservations, manage everyday tasks, edit documents or control smart home devices.
