A new entry labeled "World of Warcraft Camelot" turned up on Blizzard's servers. Dataminer Stiven found licenses for multiple editions and suggests the name is a codename for an enhanced WoW Classic rather than an Arthurian spin-off. Files tie the branch to the July 2006 patch that added the raid featured in the Leroy Jenkins video, the same patch a mysterious build of WoW ran on last year.

The discovery included references to new Heroic and Epic licenses for the Camelot build. With BlizzCon scheduled for September, testing a Classic remix ahead of the show would align with Blizzard inviting WoW Classic streamers to its Irvine offices under NDA. Blizzard has a history of letting plans surface via internal server updates, PTR appearances, and poorly named builds.

Players have long discussed a "WoW Classic Plus"—a branch that mixes old content with modern conveniences, similar to Old School RuneScape.
