Nine nations have already booked places at the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil: hosts Brazil, Australia, China, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, North Korea, New Zealand and Germany. Most of the Asian slots were settled at the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup in March, where Australia, China, South Korea and Japan secured qualification with quarter-final wins.

The Philippines and North Korea clinched the remaining AFC places via March 19 play-offs, defeating Uzbekistan and Chinese Taipei respectively. New Zealand sealed OFC qualification on April 15 with a 1-0 win over Papua New Guinea, and Germany earned the first UEFA spot on June 5 by beating Norway to win their group.

Conference allocations remain as follows: UEFA has 11 slots, the AFC six, CONCACAF and CAF at least four each, CONMEBOL will add three of Brazil’s regional rivals, and the OFC has one place. Three further berths will be decided in the inter-confederation play-offs in February 2027.
