Wilmer Valderrama Confirms Major Casting Changes for NCIS Season 24
Wilmer Valderrama says NCIS will see major casting changes as it heads into its 24th season, telling attendees at the 2026 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival that the show’s creators listen to what fans want to see.
He warned viewers to expect "a major shake-up happening" in Season 24’s first episode and promised "some major changes" and "some major additions." Speculating about Special Agent Nick Torres, Valderrama added, "I can only hope that he makes it out alive."
The remarks follow Season 23’s cliffhanger, in which Torres was involved in an armed standoff with Mateo McGee, the newly introduced teenage son of Timothy McGee. A gunshot is heard in an alleyway and the show left it unclear whether Mateo or Torres fired.
NCIS Season 24 is expected to begin airing on CBS in October 2026.
