William Saliba says he's 'already forgotten' Champions League final loss

William Saliba has said he has already put Arsenal’s Champions League final heartbreak behind him as he shifts his focus to international duty. The Frenchman played a key role in Arsenal’s run to the showpiece in Budapest but suffered a 4-3 defeat on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain.

"I've already forgotten, I hope we'll come back stronger next year," he told reporters. Life with the France squad has kept the defeat in the conversation. With five PSG players in the camp, Saliba revealed there has been plenty of good-natured ribbing.
