Will Persona 4 Revival include Persona 4 Golden content?

Atlus has confirmed Persona 4 Revival will arrive in 2027. Remakes often divide fans, but the game's recent trailer has many hoping it will carry over the additions from Persona 4 Golden. Before this year’s Xbox Games Showcase, the game was rated CERO B in Japan (ages 12 and up) and Mature 17+ by the ESRB in the US.

That discrepancy prompted speculation that some scenes might be changed or that Golden content could be excluded. The trailer briefly shows Marie — the blue-beret character in the Velvet Room who was not in the original Persona 4 but became central to Persona 4 Golden.

In Golden, Marie provides a social link required to unlock the true ending; the expanded calendar and a new epilogue in Golden help make that ending feel more complete. Fans note that Persona 3 Reload initially omitted FES additions that later appeared as paid DLC (Episode Aigis: The Answer), so caution is understandable.
