Why Travis Kelce skipped Game 4 while Taylor Swift cheered the Knicks
Travis Kelce did not accompany soon-to-be wife Taylor Swift to Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. Kelce was in Kansas City for a mandatory three-day minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs, which began Tuesday at the University of Kansas Health System Training Complex and concludes Thursday.
Swift sat courtside with friends Alana and Este Haim and was joined by Ben Stiller, Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet and other celebrity Knicks fans. The trio wore matching Knicks-themed shirts — Swift’s read 'Stevie Knicks' — and the halftime performer was the Wu-Tang Clan.
Kelce’s football commitment likely explains his absence from Tuesday’s 'Toy Story 5' premiere in Los Angeles, where Swift made a surprise appearance and contributed a new original song, 'I Knew It, I Knew You,' to the Pixar sequel.
