Which Oscar Best Picture Is Your Perfect Movie?

An interactive quiz of ten questions matches readers with one of five Best Picture winners: Parasite, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Oppenheimer, Birdman, or No Country for Old Men. Questions probe what kind of film experience you want — from something that "pulls the rug out" to a maximalist, grand, formally daring, or spare and relentless approach.

The quiz also asks about central obsessions, how a story should be told, what makes a great antagonist, preferred endings and settings, cinematic craft, the kind of main character you root for, pacing, and the feeling you want as you leave the cinema.
