Where to find Caine in Gothic Remake

Caine is Cor Kalom's apprentice and a mole secretly feeding information back to whichever camp you joined. Finding him is part of the main quest The Lost Apprentice, but the Swamp Camp’s jumble of huts and walkways makes tracking him down tricky. First, speak to Cor Kalom — the alchemist whose formula you stole in The Cult’s Recipe — to begin The Lost Apprentice.

He won’t know Caine’s exact location, but you can search his shack near the Swampweed mashers for clues. From the Swamp Camp entrance where Lester waits, go right along the water past the pier, continue past the swampweed mashers and the first hut, then enter the second hut on the right to find a drawing of the locked Abandoned Mine close to the Exchange Zone.

Take the drawing to Lester, then head to the mine in the north‑east of the map. The area includes a long traversal section and a boss, so be prepared: completing The Price of Magic will grant the fire bolt rune and bringing swamp weed helps with mana regen.
