When will GTA 6 release on PC?

The PC release for GTA 6 probably won't arrive before November 2027, based on Rockstar's history of staggered PC ports. So far the studio has given no estimate for a PC launch window. Console-to-PC delays have varied: seven months for Grand Theft Auto IV, 19 months for GTA V and about a year for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Rockstar has frequently confirmed PC versions only after console launches—GTA IV's PC announcement came months later, GTA V's PC release was announced the following summer and then pushed into 2015, and RDR2's PC plan was confirmed roughly a year after the console debut with little lead time.

Take-Two chief Strauss Zelnick has sent mixed signals, saying the industry is moving toward PC (November 2025) and that PC has become more important (February 2026), while in May 2026 he reiterated that Rockstar typically starts on console and described console players as its "core consumer," even as he estimated PC could account for 45–50% of sales on a major launch.
