What To Expect From Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2026 Showcase
The Summer Game Fest main event is almost here. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the showcase kicks off live at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on June 5, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET and will stream on YouTube and Twitch. Tickets sold out weeks ago, though resale nosebleed seats are currently listed for about $300 on Ticketmaster.
Now in its sixth year, the show runs roughly two hours and mixes world‑premiere trailers for big blockbusters with lighter moments like Muppets on stage. There’s usually a celebrity cameo or two and the event is typically bustling with cross‑promotional synergies.
The show often starts with a bang and ends with one, and the ride in between is often more about the friends you make along the way than the final destination. Some marquee reveals are unlikely: GTA 6 is very unlikely and Half‑Life 3 is “nope. No way. Definitely not.” The most likely high‑profile reveal, according to a notably consistent leaker, is Final Fantasy VII Remake part three.
