What To Expect At Xbox’s Big Summer Showcase Event

This year marks 25 years of Xbox, and the weekend’s Xbox Digital Showcase could bring major surprises and reveals. It’s the first big event since Asha Sharma replaced Phil Spencer as CEO a few months ago, and she’s pitched a return to the brand’s roots while promising a lot to long-time fans.

The showcase is likely where Sharma will outline some plans for the next 12 months, so fans of Xbox and franchises like Gears of War or Fallout will want to watch. The main showcase starts at 1 p.m. EST, with the Gears of War: E-Day Direct beginning immediately after.

You can watch on YouTube in 4k60, Twitch, Facebook, Amazon Live and Amazon Prime Video; an ASL version will also stream. Xbox is also streaming the event on Steam and Bilibili in China. Xbox has confirmed Gears of War: E-Day will be featured, with some coverage in the main show and a deeper look during the Direct—expect a release date.
