SpaceX added new language to its IPO filing that warns investors about access to water, a resource the company says is needed to cool its data centers. The filing, which now reflects the addition of Elon Musk’s AI unit xAI, places water on the same list of critical constraints as power, processors and other essential supplies.

The changes appear in the filing’s risk factors and expand on earlier language that emphasized limits tied to power, long construction timelines and material shortages. The amended document says data center buildouts are constrained by the 'availability of power and water at economically feasible prices' and notes that significant water resources may be required for cooling.
