Pagesix reports that, according to the Mirror UK, Victoria Beckham, 51, is "completely heartbroken" by son Brooklyn Beckham’s scathing Instagram post about the family’s estrangement — particularly his reference to his and wife Nicola Peltz’s "future family."

Brooklyn, 26, ended his post with the line, "All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family," after listing accusations that he said described his parents as "controlling" and "performative." He accused them of trying to "ruin" his relationship with Peltz since before their April 2022 wedding, claimed they pressured and attempted to bribe him into signing away rights to his name weeks before the ceremony, and alleged Victoria cancelled making Peltz's dress at the eleventh hour. He also said Victoria "hijacked" the newlyweds’ first dance and danced "very inappropriately" on him, leaving him "uncomfortable" and "humiliated," and that she called him "evil" over seating decisions for grandmothers at the reception.

The Mirror UK report said the reference to possible grandchildren was "particularly hurtful" to Victoria and David Beckham, for whom becoming grandparents would be a "dream"; Victoria told Vogue in February 2024 she would "hopefully one day, if I am blessed" be delighted to be a grandmother. Neither she nor David, 50, have publicly addressed Brooklyn’s allegations.
