Vampire Survivors creator dubs spin-offs 'Survivatons'

At the Future Games Show, Vampire Survivors creator Luca Galante said he plans more spin-offs and has coined the name “Survivatons,” calling it a “stupid” name that is “short for survive-a-ton.” He noted the success of Vampire Crawlers as a motivating factor. Galante described a Survivaton as essentially Vampire Survivors with “a different spin on it,” such as a different metagame or a feature that “doesn't actually fit Vampire Survivors.” The first Survivaton will be revealed “very soon.” He also said he isn't planning to let go of Vampire Survivors anytime soon.

Galante revealed a small add-on, Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Blood Moon, which will include “eight-plus characters, eight-plus weapons, plus evolutions,” and will be priced around 80 pence.
