Valor Mortis delayed to October amid crowded September release schedule
One More Level has pushed its first-person soulslike Valor Mortis from Sept. 24 to Oct. 13. The studio announced the change on X, saying it locked in the initial release date before the day became so crowded and that the delay will also allow time to incorporate feedback from the game's recent Steam demo.
Valor Mortis had been set for Sept. 24 alongside Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition for the Switch 2, with Onimusha: Way of the Sword arriving the day after. The week before already included Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave, Marvel’s Wolverine and Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4.
One More Level previously created the well-received GhostRunner games, praised for their sharp controls.
