Nike and U.S. Soccer have unveiled a Stars & Stripes collection for the USMNT ahead of the 2026 World Cup on home soil. The home shirt brings back the iconic 'Waldo' stripes, while a sleek, all-dark away kit has already generated strong online attention. Called the Stripes kit, the home jersey draws heavily on flag imagery and echoes the 2012 'Waldo' look and the 1994 World Cup shirts.

Vibrant red and white wavy stripes cover the front and sleeves, balanced by a clean navy crew-neck collar and matching sleeve cuffs. The kit uses Nike's Aero-FIT technology, prioritising lightweight breathability and moisture-wicking for summer conditions. The away strip, named the Stars kit, opts for a stealth aesthetic in deep obsidian/carbon black.

A subtle tonal star pattern is woven into the fabric and becomes more visible under stadium lights, while red detailing appears on the side panels and the back of the neck; the federation crest is finished in metallic silver to symbolise the host nation's ambition.
