Erica Jackowitz and her husband, Roman Chiporukha, run Roman & Erica, a New York and Aspen–based lifestyle management firm that handles every facet of clients' leisure. They act as personal assistants for homes, yachts, planes, cars, travel, and social events, representing about 10–12 families and offering direct access to the couple around the clock for fees upward of $150,000 a year.

The roster is kept intentionally small so Erica can take a client's call at 8 p.m. on a Saturday. Their work is built on deep relationships and an eye for detail: arranging travel for a child's hockey tournament, throwing a dinner at home, planning an Arctic vacation, or selecting the right flowers and custom gifts.

Jackowitz frames the service as better allocation of resources — saving busy executives hours of planning and advocating for clients in ways a commission-based travel agent would not. Days are unpredictable.
