Ubisoft CEO Reflects on Brother Claude Guillemot’s Death and Legacy

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot shared a public statement on LinkedIn after his brother and co-founder Claude Guillemot died in a plane crash earlier this month. He expressed gratitude on behalf of himself and his family to fans, employees, and community members for messages of support.

Claude helped found Ubisoft alongside his brothers Yves, Michel, Christian, and Gérard in 1986. He served on the board of directors and as president of Guillemot Corporation, largely working behind the scenes to shape and expand the business over the years. Yves wrote that Claude "helped shape Ubisoft with an entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, and unwavering optimism.
