Two SNL Hosts Starred in Four of Season 51's Five Most-Watched Pretaped Sketches

Pretaped sketches on Saturday Night Live use locations, effects and filming styles a live sketch cannot, and in Season 51 they produced some of the show's most-shared moments. Two hosts appeared across four of the five most-watched pretaped sketches, combining sharp concepts with memorable performances.

Miles Teller features twice on the list. On November 1, 2025, he played both Property Brothers in the original "White House Makeover," which includes James Austin Johnson's Trump offering notes like, "We can do bum fights again. Remember bum fights?" He also starred in the same night's "Missing Wives Docuseries," a true-crime send-up about husbands who jump to dramatic conclusions when their spouses are simply out running errands.

Finn Wolfhard also appears twice, first reprising Mike Wheeler in the "Stranger Things Promo" sketches, including a parody titled "Mike in Manhattan" opposite former castmates Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin.
