'Twin Peaks' actor Owain Rhys Davies dead at 44
Owain Rhys Davies, known for roles in "Twin Peaks: The Return" and "The OA," has died at 44. His brother, Rhodri Davies, wrote on Instagram: "It is with profound sadness that my father and I share the news that my brother, Owain, has passed away." He added that "there are still questions that remain unanswered regarding the circumstances of his death," but that the family understands "Owain passed suddenly, naturally, and peacefully." Rhodri praised Owain’s "love, friendship, and generosity," saying the "outpouring of messages we have received over the past few days has been deeply moving and a testament to the impact he had on so many lives." He added that "Owain was fortunate enough to have more than one family" and that while Owain was his brother, "he was also a brother to so many others." Rhodri said he will share further details about his brother’s passing and funeral arrangements in due course and asked for privacy as the family "come to terms with this devastating loss."
