The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II headset includes a charging dock designed to charge a battery pack while you use the other. I appreciate it most for the large RGB-lit button: pressing it releases a mechanism that pops the battery out in seconds, avoiding the annoyance of hunting down a cable.

At $349.99 (Amazon), this isn't a reason by itself to buy the Stealth Pro II. With Prime Day gaming deals I'm hoping we'll see a few dollars shaved off its lofty price tag, but we'll have to wait and see. Even so, my achy wrists and impatience with awkward tech are thankful for the little button.

Swapping batteries on headsets like the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni and the Pro Wireless has felt awkward to me. Their Game Hub requires you to push and click a spare pack in for charging, tucking it behind a little ridge so you have to shove a finger into a small slit to remove it — a fiddly process.
