Tribeca Festival 2026: Aubrey Plaza, Susan Sarandon, H.E.R. and more

The 25th anniversary of the Tribeca Festival kicked off June 3 in New York City. Celebrities like Aubrey Plaza, Susan Sarandon and H.E.R. came out to showcase the latest in films, TV, games and more. Premieres and onstage events filled the schedule. Aubrey Plaza and Susan Sarandon appeared at the premiere of "The Accompanist." Paul Rudd and Seth Meyers shared the stage for Storytellers, while Sara Bareilles attended the premiere of "Sara Bareilles: Good Grief." Zach Braff, Edward Burns of "Finnegan’s Foursome" and Tony Shalhoub at the "Kids Like Me" premiere were among other notable participants, and Lily Rabe joined Hamish Linklater for a Storytelling Summit session.

Opening night included a celebration of Earth, Wind & Fire, with Verdine White, B. David Whitworth, Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson performing onstage. Robert De Niro also appeared at the "Earth, Wind & Fire" premiere, and H.E.R., Chuck D, Flavor Flav and Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson were in attendance.
