Tracker Season 2, Episode 16 Ends Abruptly

Tracker leans darker in Season 2’s Episode 16, "The Mercy Seat." Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) and search-and-rescue worker Roger McLaren (Diego Klattenhoff) comb the snowy Montana wilderness for two missing snowboarders, finding hypothermic sisters Shelly (Lexi Simonsen) and Brianna (Madison Lawlor).

A remote cabin yields Amelia (Ariana Guerra) and her seemingly friendly brothers, Dash (Sean Depner) and Rufus (Jedidiah Goodacre), but the situation quickly unravels. Violence follows: Roger is found injured and someone opens fire, the cabin’s occupants vanish, and a dead elderly couple in a tool shed reveals darker motives.

At a nearby lodge Colter discovers Amelia has been held captive by cult leader Father Ammon (Sean Bridgers). Ammon forces Brianna into the titular Mercy Seat and attacks; Colter slips in with a gun, Brianna stabs Rufus with a hidden fork, a shoot-out erupts, and Colter disables the three captors to free Amelia.
