Toy Story 6: What we know so far

Toy Story 6 has not been officially greenlit by Disney or Pixar. Andrew Stanton, who co-directed Toy Story 5, has said he can see material for two additional movies and has repeatedly cautioned that you “can never say never.” Pixar has long approached each sequel as if it could be the last while quietly leaving doors open.

No cast has been confirmed for a sixth film, but the lineup from Toy Story 5 points to likely returns: Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie, with Greta Lee voicing Lilypad. The broader ensemble from the fifth movie includes Annie Potts, Kristen Schaal, Tony Hale, Craig Robinson, Conan O’Brien, Keanu Reeves, Bad Bunny, and Ernie Hudson, while Taylor Swift contributed an original song alongside Randy Newman’s score.

There is no official plot, yet Toy Story 5 plants clear narrative seeds.
