Sony's State of Play showcased a new gameplay trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and revealed a revised release date. The game is presented as a complete reimagining of the 1996 original, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. It had been intended to launch this year, but the release has been moved to February 12, 2027.

The PlayStation Blog says the remake opens former self-contained rooms into semi-connected environments you can traverse, explore, and approach from new angles. Every space is designed as a real place with secrets, collectibles, and resources, and even returning puzzles like the cog have been reimagined and grounded in the world to make Peru feel fully alive.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is available for wishlisting on Steam, where it still appears as "coming soon" and has not yet been updated with the new date.
