Tomb Raider King, a Korean webnovel about high-stakes dungeon spelunking, will premiere on Crunchyroll on July 6 — no, this has nothing to do with Lara Croft. Crunchyroll released the first trailer, which features a large CGI dragon and the opening theme "Showdown" by QWER.

The story follows Jooheon Suh, an adventurer who seeks out God’s tombs, dungeons that contain powerful relics. Betrayed by his former employer, Suh is sent to the past and begins a quest for retribution, armed with what the series calls the adventurer’s equivalent of Biff’s almanac.

Sanji Jiksong’s original web novel began in November 2016 and was later adapted into a web comic that concluded in 2023. Tapas released the full series in English, where it amassed almost 10 million views, and Yen Press is publishing a print translation with the final volume of 16 due this October.
