Timberline Studio bundles Beastro and The Red Lantern for $10

Timberline Studio has bundled its new "cozy culinary adventure" Beastro with its 2021 dog-sledding survival game The Red Lantern on Steam for $10.

Beastro casts you as Panko, a cat who runs a local eatery and feeds the heroes who fight monsters beyond the town's walls. The game carries a $15 introductory price, which is 25% off its $20 retail price, but the two-game bundle costs less than buying Beastro on its own.

The Red Lantern puts you in the role of a dog-sledding musher leading a team of hounds out of the Alaskan wilderness. It blends narrative, survival and roguelite elements, holds a "very positive" Steam rating with almost 900 reviews, and is free to keep until June 18 (down from its usual $25). Together, the offers represent strong value for anyone interested in one or both games before the deals expire.
