On May 23, 2021 the Season 32 finale of The Simpsons, titled 'The Last Barfighter,' staged a surprise crossover with the John Wick universe. Ian McShane voices Artemis Scott, introduced as Winston's twin and the manager of The Continental, a touch that openly links the two franchises.

The episode sends Moe into a secret society of bartenders at "The Confidential" after he drunkenly reveals Springfield's secrets. When the group threatens Moe's business with a potent "Anti-Booze" serum and injects Barney, the town goes on the run and the story unfolds as a John Wick–style hunt, borrowing beats from the first two films.

Rather than high body counts, the episode remaps action-movie tropes onto bar culture: syringes replace guns, a filthy bar rag becomes an improvised weapon, and close-quarters fights echo Gun Fu. Ian McShane plays it straight, delivering lines with the same gravitas his Winston character carries in the movies.
