Shabana Azeez has confirmed that her character Victoria Javadi will not be working in the emergency room in Season 3 of The Pitt, moving into a psychiatry rotation to focus on a career in mental health. Azeez said, "I can say that I’m not in the ER this season.

I’ve done my ER rotation, so I’m doing my psychiatry rotation." The change does not necessarily mean Javadi is leaving the series entirely. The show’s structure as a teaching hospital has long allowed characters to rotate between roles, a point Noah Wyle’s Dr. Robbie has emphasized.

That format, coupled with earlier cast shifts — Season 2 confirmed Supriya Ganesh’s Dr. Samira Mohan won’t return and Tracy Ifeachor did not return as Heather Collins after Season 1 — means the roster can change significantly from season to season. Azeez described the new arc as "a very different vibe for me.
