The Madison renewed for multiple seasons after strong premiere
Taylor Sheridan’s The Madison premiered on Paramount+ on March 14 and was renewed for a third season just a month later. Season 2 has already been filmed and is in post-production, and with Season 3’s filming expected to begin in 2027 the series is now assured to be a fixture through at least 2028.
Sheridan wrote all six episodes of the first season and Christina Alexandra Voros directed the full run, giving the show a tight creative through-line. Michelle Pfeiffer leads as Stacy Clyburn, a Manhattan woman who loses her husband and son in a plane crash and relocates to the Madison River valley; the cast also includes Kurt Russell as Preston, Patrick J.
Adams, Amiah Miller, Ben Schnetzer, Matthew Fox and Will Arnett in a supporting role the show keeps intentionally under wraps. Critics landed at 61 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, with many reviews splitting over Sheridan’s portrayal of New York versus Montana and his long-standing antipathy toward urban life.
