Action Thriller The Furious Sets Digital Release Date

The Furious, a Hong Kong martial-arts actioner directed by Kenji Tanigaki and starring Xie Miao and Joe Taslim, has drawn strong praise since its Toronto International Film Festival premiere in September 2025. Critics embraced its intensity; it held a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating until recently and currently sits at 98% positive reviews.

The story follows Wang Wei (Xie Miao), a tradesman whose daughter is kidnapped, and Navin (Joe Taslim), a journalist whose wife also went missing. The two men form an uneasy partnership that propels them down a brutal, bloody path of revenge.

Dread Central lists the film’s digital release as Jul. 16. After that date, availability on other streaming platforms is expected to follow.

The Furious opened theatrically on June 10, 2026, and runs 113 minutes.
