The Devil Wears Prada 2 sets July 29 streaming date

Disney and 20th Century Studios released The Devil Wears Prada 2 in May 2026, reuniting Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. The sequel follows Andy Sachs returning to Runway magazine without Miranda's consent to help the company navigate a new digital revolution and corporate buyouts while contending with Emily Charlton's potential takeover efforts.

The film will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu starting Jul. 29, 89 days after its May 1 theatrical debut. A PVOD release date has not been confirmed. Critics and audiences responded positively, with 77% of critics and 84% of general viewers giving favorable reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

It opened domestically with $77 million and has grossed over $677 million worldwide — about $219 million in North America and $458 million internationally — combining with the original to exceed $1 billion.
