The Batman 2's surprise villain revealed in new report

An unconfirmed report says Sebastian Stan will play serial killer Victor Zsasz in Matt Reeves' The Batman Part 2, while Brian Tyree Henry is said to be cast as Harvey Dent. The report does not make clear whether Dent will become Two-Face in the sequel. Other casting rumors link Scarlett Johannson to Gilda Dent and Charles Dance to Christopher Dent.

Victor Zsasz is a longtime Batman foe: a sadomasochistic, psychopathic serial killer who carves a tally mark into his skin for each victim. The character debuted in 1992's Batman: Shadow of the Bat #1 and appears in video games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.

Live-action portrayals have included Anthony Carrigan in Gotham, Chris Messina in Birds of Prey and Tim Booth in Batman Begins. Harvey Dent has also appeared in multiple Batman films, previously played by Billy Dee Williams, Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart.
